What is PAM AusVit?
PAM AusVit is a management and decision support software
system for use in vineyards.
Modern technologies have been incorporated to give you
a genuine management information system. You can make INFORMED
decisions. You simply enter your daily events and PAM AusVit
uses that data to deliver useful information in the form
of reports and graphs.
What can you expect from PAM AusVit?
PAM AusVit is designed to assist in vineyard management
decision making through the recording, analysis and reporting
of critical activities, events and conditions within the
vineyard. It aims to assist growers and managers achieve
their target levels of vineyard efficiency, yield and fruit
quality, while reducing the risk of crop losses and minimising
the use of chemicals. PAM AusVit can provide information
on the prevailing situation in a vineyard and any action
required, based on current scientific knowledge and management
practices. Through the recording and analysis of vineyard
monitoring results and weather conditions, PAM AusVit aims
to determine more accurately when disease and insect damage
will occur and suggests possible courses of action.
It can also provide recommendations on irrigation scheduling,
with the aim of improving fruit quality.
The recommendations, together with summary reports of the
vineyard block profile, irrigation schedule, spray records,
nutrition recommendations and scouting results may all be
printed as required.
A comprehensive chemical database is also included, providing
an easy to use detailed reference to assist growers and
vineyard managers find the information they need on the
registered chemicals commonly used in vineyards.

Save your special tank mixes for re-use. Easily monitor
and assess herbicide resistance problems.
Crop Monitoring
Record ANY monitoring activity that you decide to configure
in PAM. For example: Canopy Coverage, Plant Densities.
Seeding/Planting
Keep crop/varietal information, row spacing, planting rate
and have your costs calculated automatically.
Fertiliser Applications
Including associated products, rates and batch numbers.
Automatically update your inventory. PAM even enables you
create to special fertiliser blends.
Harvest Delivery
Keep detailed harvest information such as class/grade of
crop and multiple monitoring items (protein, moisture etc..)
Weed Records
Keep weed population records. Record who carried out the
inspection and any comments you may have.
Irrigation Records
Associated pump/water source and the application rate in
mm (calculated). PAM is being successfully used in many
different irrigation environments… From flood to drippers,
centre pivots to channels.
Manual Tasks
Create your own manual tasks and keep a track of those tasks
and costing's, as well as who carried out the task. Generate
various useful reports like “Who did what, when, where
and for how much!”
Pests & Diseases
Record the observation/pest, reading, crop growth stage,
pest growth stage as well as who carried out the observation
and any comments you may have. Graph one or more pest populations
to monitor results of spraying.
Staff & Contractors
You can ensure that your information is accurate by defining
contract labour as well as full time staff.
Sundry Items
Sundry consumables are those items that don’t fit
into the categories of Chemicals, Fertilisers, Crop Seed,
Livestock Feeds and Veterinary Drugs. All sundries consumed
are automatically removed from your inventory system.
Machinery Operations
Machinery operations can be associated to any other activity
or recorded as a separate operation. A built in machinery
cost calculator helps you assess your machinery costing.
Machinery operations can be costed by Area ($/Ha) or Time
($/Hour) or by units of application ($/Tonne, $/Litre)
